Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about All Over Color.

Most All Over Color appointments last 60–90 minutes, depending on hair length, thickness, and consultation. Processing and styling are included. Complex color adjustments or additional treatments may extend the time—your stylist will give an accurate estimate during booking.

Yes — permanent All Over Color is formulated to provide complete gray coverage for most clients. Coverage depends on hair texture, previous color, and gray percentage; resistant grays may require a specific formulation or staged services for optimal results.

All Over Color is a single-process deposit-only service, primarily for darkening or enriching the existing shade. To lift several levels you’ll need bleach or a high-lift service such as balayage or highlights—book a consultation to determine the best approach.

Color longevity varies with hair porosity, lifestyle, and product use. Expect 4–8 weeks before noticeable fading or root regrowth; permanent color fades gradually over months. Use color-safe shampoo, cool water, and scheduled touch-ups to prolong vibrancy.

We recommend a patch test for new clients or if you have allergy concerns. Tests are completed 48 hours prior to service to check for sensitivities. If you’ve had recent color without reaction, your stylist may advise accordingly.

Maintain color by using sulfate-free, color-safe shampoo and conditioner, washing less frequently, rinsing with cool water, and applying heat protectants before styling. Schedule gloss treatments and routine touch-ups to refresh tone and keep color looking fresh longer.
